Our trainers and coaches

The ISOC Accredited Trainer Programme ensures that every trainer is an inspiring course leader as well as a proven subject expert. Our roster of 25+ specialist trainers brings deep expertise across media training, public speaking, crisis communication, corporate communications strategy and executive coaching. They are former BBC journalists, PR directors, corporate communications heads and executive coaches who are still actively working in their fields.

Adam is a veteran BBC journalist with more than 30 years of broadcasting experience. He presents on BBC Radio 4, Five Live and the BBC World Service, where he began his career. Having interviewed hundreds of finance ministers, central bankers and CEOs, Adam brings that frontline experience directly into the training room. For the past 15 years he has trained senior executives in media interviews, crisis communication, public speaking and strategic messaging. He is also an accomplished conference facilitator. Adam has delivered training across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Africa for organisations ranging from multinational corporations and financial institutions to national governments and international NGOs. His approach combines systematic interview technique with real-world broadcast insight, helping spokespeople perform with confidence and credibility under pressure.

Anne is a corporate communications professional with 20 years of international experience across hospitality, energy and industrial sectors. She has developed and managed communication strategies, crisis programmes and stakeholder engagement for major organisations including the Jumeirah Group, Future Pipe Industries and the Rezidor Hotel Group. Anne holds a Bachelor's in Hotel Administration from The Hague and an MBA from the University of Colorado. She is a former board member of the Middle East Public Relations Association and a member of PRCA MENA and IABC. Anne is Managing Partner of In2 Consulting, a boutique strategic communications agency in Dubai which she co-founded in 2010. Her training covers strategic corporate communications, crisis management, media relations and stakeholder engagement, drawing on deep in-house experience of the pressures facing communication teams.

Anouska began her career managing sales and customer relations teams for loyalty programmes at leading hotels in the UK, China and Malaysia. As Director of Operations for Hotel Dynamics Middle East, she was responsible for 16 programmes and 400 employees. She has also served as Assistant Vice President for a property company and as Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. Her training approach is grounded in real operational leadership, helping participants build practical communication skills they can apply immediately.

Ayman has also helped governments and corporations design strategies to reach and engage their digital audiences at scale. He has trained extensively across the Gulf region, including for the universities of Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Al Ain.

Her clients span sectors from finance to luxury, including the European Central Bank, Prudential, Novartis and Chanel. Caitlin is also a voiceover artist and screenwriter, with credits for the History Channel and Amazon, and she brings creative storytelling techniques into her corporate training. Corrina qualified with the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing and has lived and worked in Australia, Egypt and Bahrain before settling in Dubai, where she managed a marketing agency for 15 years. She moved into learning and development in 2011, bringing extensive real-world business experience into the training room. Her approach helps professionals understand their own communication style and adapt it effectively for different audiences and situations, building confidence and interpersonal impact across cultures.

Elena advises organisations across the Middle East and Asia on communication strategy and stakeholder engagement. She holds two Master's degrees in Economics and Management and in Journalism, and studied leadership at London Business School. She is a member of the World Communication Forum Association in Davos. Eva is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner completing advanced training in Bodynamic Analysis. Her work draws on somatic psychology, adult development theory and leadership research, shaped by international experience across Europe, the United States and Asia. She designs coaching and leadership programmes focused on regulation, embodied decision-making and team dynamics. Felice is a versatile editor, writer and broadcaster with deep experience in economic and business communication. During a 16-year career at CNN she helped create and produce the award-winning live business programme World Business Today. She later became Managing Editor of Hoover's Online Europe, leading a team of journalists. Felice has since launched and managed digital content projects including websites, intranets and microsites for organisations including Transport for London and the NHS. She consulted on web and print communications for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London. Her training covers writing for business, content strategy and editorial communication.

She trained in-house at BBC Northern Ireland and later worked as a news editor and presenter for both the BBC and Dubai Television and Radio. Frances served as editor-in-chief for a high-end lifestyle magazine and has contributed to national newspapers in the UK and other countries. In her corporate communications career, she specialises in media relations, employee engagement and crisis communications. Her clients include Emirates Airline and Group, Dubai Airports, Dubai Airshow, American University of Sharjah and Dubai Tourism.

As Head of Business News at Qatar TV he established a new business news division, and previously worked as a senior financial analyst and presenter at CNBC Arabia covering regional and international financial markets. Before journalism, Hisham held senior roles in finance at Shuaa Capital, Barclays private banking and Citibank. He regularly moderates forums and panel sessions across the Middle East. Hisham holds a BA and MBA in banking and finance and a second postgraduate degree in international business. His combination of financial sector expertise and broadcast authority makes him a uniquely credible media trainer.

Since 2015 Israa has worked extensively across the GCC, providing training to senior executives, government entities and royal households. Her expertise spans business and dining etiquette, executive presence, public speaking and international protocol. Alongside her broadcasting career, Joumana has spent over a decade as a media trainer, delivering training in TV and radio presenting, public speaking, voiceover and Arabic for journalists. Since moving to Dubai in 2010, Nick has specialised in training senior executives and spokespeople in media skills and crisis communications. His clients include IKEA, Huawei, Qatar Airways, Cigna, American Express, the UAE Central Bank and JP Morgan. He also works in corporate video production for international organisations such as Mars, Merck and the British Council. He joined Reuters as a graduate trainee and served as a foreign correspondent specialising in financial and economic news, covering international summits and interviewing heads of state, ministers and CEOs. Will co-founded ISOC and Pinnacle PR, a global communications consultancy. He has executed large-scale projects to create communication strategies and systems for national governments and major corporations. For six years he was chief advisor to the head of communications in the office of a Prime Minister. He has counselled hundreds of cabinet ministers, CEOs and senior executives across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Will specialises in executive coaching, media training, crisis communication and strategic messaging.
