Luke has managed Public Affairs campaigns, stakeholder relations, and opinion former programs for international and UK companies in sectors ranging from diamond trading, casino gaming and property development. Managing relations with stakeholders at a local, regional and national level – including MPs, committee members, party donors and shadow ministers – Luke has experience in promoting controversial messages in turbulent political environments. He has also managed clients’ parliamentary monitoring needs as well as intelligence briefings on think tanks, government departments and pressure groups. In between public affairs lobbying assignments, Luke trained as a teacher of A-Level Government and Politics and became Head of Citizenship at one of North London’s most popular and over-subscribed comprehensive schools. He is experienced in teaching UK and US constitutional reform, party politics, judicial activism, electoral systems, and pressure group strategy. More recently Luke has been working as political advisor to a campaign group pushing for changes in fertility treatment policy, and will soon be taking a position as a public affairs and communications advisor in the legal sector.
