Lucy Miller is a marketing consultant with fifteen years’ experience in integrated marketing. Lucy’s career began in London at an event management agency organising large scale events for the UK government and FMCG clients. She then joined an integrated agency gyro.com to set up Gyro Live – the experiential arm of the agency. Lucy developed the business to the stage where it was delivering more than 200 live events per year with a team of 10. Lucy then led a pitch team to win a large scale event for Avaya Telecommunications based in NYC and worked with a small team to set up a branch office in Manhattan and deliver the event for the next 12 months. In 2007 Lucy wrote the business plan to set up a branch office of gyro in Dubai partnering with her sister, and managed the agency for seven years to turnover more than AED15M with a staff of 20 people including creatives, planners and client services. The agency is still successful and clients have included Jumeirah, Dubai Calendar, Six Senses, Meydan, Nokia and Fedex. Lucy recently joined EMS – a specialist experiential agency which she oversees on a part time basis, managing business development, idea creation and client services.
